Baunhauser Scholarships
Who was Bob Baunhauer?
Bob Baunhauser was a long time member of the Kiwanis who right up until his passing set an example of selfless service to the children and families in our community. Now, even after his passing, his contribution to the Club has created over one-million dollars in scholarships and other aid to our community over the past twenty years.
The Bob Baunhauser Foundation was established with an endowment from his estate. Bob’s instructions were that each year, a minimum of 50% of the funding from the endowment be earmarked for scholarships for young people to further their education and the other 50% given to nonprofits and projects benefiting the community and its members.

Here are some student All Stars who have received the Bob Baunhauser Scholarship and did well:
LB - graduated STHS attending UCLA and graduated in 4 years, went on to get a Masters in Biology.
BB - graduated STHS attending Southern Oregon graduated in 3 years and received her Masters in 5 years.
