KIWANIS CLUB OF LAKE TAHOE ANNOUNCES
BOB BAUNHAUSER AWARD
FOR EXCELLENCE IN COMMUNITY SERVICE

South Lake Tahoe, CA – The Kiwanis Club of Lake Tahoe, with support from the South Tahoe Chamber of Commerce, is seeking nominations for the Inaugural Bob Bauhauser Award for Excellence in Community Service.  The award was created to honor the memory of Bob, who was a long-time member of the Kiwanis Club of Lake Tahoe, and who, throughout his life, set an example of selfless service to the children, families, and organizations in our community.  Upon his passing, the Bob Baunhauser Foundation was established with an endowment from his estate.  Bob’s instructions were that each year, a minimum of 50% of the funding from the endowment be earmarked for scholarships for young people to further their education.
